Effective date: 26 October 2026. These Terms replace the version last updated on 24 October 2026.

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

1.1 Trindle is a product made and operated by Namda Life and Machines Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at Unit No. 309, 3rd Floor, Tower-A, SAS Tower, Support Area, Medicity, Sector-38, Gurgaon 122001, Haryana, India (“Namda”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Our website is namda.co. “Trindle” means the service described in these Terms and the assistant you talk to.

1.2 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Trindle on the messaging service you use with it, the websites trindle.ai and app.trindle.ai, the sign-up, continuation and payment pages we host, any application of Trindle’s own that we may offer, and any related pages, messages, pictures, voice notes, guides and features we provide (together, the “Services”).

1.3 By completing the sign-up page, by sending the first message to Trindle after signing up, or by using the Services in any other way, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1.4 The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. It forms part of these Terms. Where these Terms and the Privacy Policy say different things about your information, the Privacy Policy applies.

2. Some words we use

2.1 “Household” means the home that Trindle plans for, as described by the Primary User on the sign-up page and in chat.

2.2 “Primary User” means the adult who signed up the Household and whose account on the Messaging Service is connected to it. The Primary User controls who else can join the Household and what each person may do.

2.3 “Member” means another adult of the Household who has joined through the Primary User’s invitation or was added by the Primary User, and who talks to Trindle from their own account on the Messaging Service.

2.4 “Allowed Person” means a person, inside or outside the Household, whom the Primary User has allowed to see some of the Household’s information under settings the Primary User controls.

2.5 “Cook” means the person the Household names as the one who cooks, whether a Member, the Primary User, or a person who comes to cook. A Cook who talks to Trindle from their own account is also a Member.

2.6 “Messaging Service” means the messaging service through which you talk to Trindle. Today this is WhatsApp. It may later include other messaging services and an application of Trindle’s own.

2.7 “Content” means anything you or your Household send to Trindle: messages, photos, voice notes, videos, lists, answers to questions and facts about the people at home.

2.8 “Guides”, “Plans”, “Lists” and “Orders” mean, respectively, the cooking guides Trindle sends before a meal, the meal plans Trindle drafts and confirms with you, the lists of what the kitchen needs, and the grocery orders Trindle places on your behalf after you approve a cart.

2.9 “Trial” means the free period described in Section 9. “Subscription” means a paid period of the Services under Section 10. “Early Believer Code” means a discount code described in Section 11.

2.10 “Affiliates” means companies that control Namda, are controlled by Namda, or are under common control with Namda.

3. Who can use Trindle

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to sign up, to be a Member or an Allowed Person, or to use the Services in any way. By using the Services you confirm that you are 18 or older.

3.2 A Household may include children. An adult describes them to Trindle by first name and a tag such as “child”. Trindle plans for them through the adults. Trindle does not knowingly message a person under 18 on that person’s own account, and you must not connect a child’s account to Trindle as a Member or an Allowed Person.

3.3 The Services are offered in the cities we list on the sign-up page. If your city is not yet served, you may join the waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not create a Household or start a Trial.

3.4 You must give accurate information on the sign-up page and in chat, and keep it current. You are responsible for the names and details you give about other people in your home (see Section 5).

4. Your account

4.1 Trindle does not use passwords. Your account is the number or identity you use on the Messaging Service to talk to Trindle. Today that is your WhatsApp account, which may be different from your phone number; both are covered by these Terms. The sign-up page and the first message from your account connect your account to your Household. A message we send to the number you gave on the sign-up page and your reply to it connect your account in the same way. The account that writes to Trindle is treated as the person who holds it. If the number you gave on the page is different from the account you write from, the account you write from is the one we use, and we may ask you to confirm it.

4.2 Anyone who can send messages from your account can act as you. Keep your phone and your account on the Messaging Service secure. Tell us at once if you lose control of your account, change your number, or suspect that someone else is using it, by writing to here@namda.co. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting.

4.3 One account belongs to one person. An account can be the Primary User of one Household and, at the same time, a Member or an Allowed Person of another. We may refuse to connect an account that is already connected to a Household, and we may ask the Primary User of that Household to confirm before any change is made.

4.4 If a person who was a user leaves a Household, their account is no longer treated as a user of that Household. What happens to their information is described in the Privacy Policy.

4.5 Trindle may later be offered over other messaging services and through an application of its own, as a combination in which some things happen over the messaging service you use and extended things happen in the application. These Terms cover the Services however they are delivered, and the rules in this Section apply to each account or identity you use with Trindle.

5. Your Household: the Primary User, Members and Allowed Persons

5.1 The Primary User decides who joins the Household and what each person may do. The Services keep a table of permissions, for example who may change a meal, who may approve an order, and who may spend money. The Primary User may change these permissions at any time by asking Trindle. Where a person asks for something they are not permitted to do, Trindle will route the request to the Primary User or to the person who holds that permission.

5.2 Members may talk to Trindle about the Household’s meals, see the Plans and Guides that concern them, make changes within their permissions, and ask Trindle for things of their own. What a Member sees depends on the permissions the Primary User has set.

5.3 A Primary User may allow another person, inside or outside the Household, to see some of the Household’s information under settings the Primary User controls. We record who was allowed, by whom, when, and what they may see. The Allowed Person sees only that. The Primary User may change or withdraw the permission at any time. An Allowed Person must not use what they see to harass, control or harm the people of that Household.

5.4 When you tell Trindle about other people, including children, a partner, a parent or a person who cooks for you, you confirm that you are entitled to share that information for the purpose of planning the Household’s meals. Facts you state about another person are recorded as stated by you. When that person later joins as a Member, Trindle will confirm their own details with them.

5.5 If Trindle is used by more than one person in a Household, each of you is bound by these Terms. The Primary User is also responsible for the Household’s Subscription, for payment, and for the conduct of Members and Allowed Persons they have admitted.

6. What you share, and the licence you give us

6.1 You keep ownership of your Content. You grant Namda a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, analyse, transform and display your Content, and to create derived material from it, for the purposes of providing, maintaining, protecting and improving the Services and as described in the Privacy Policy. This licence lasts for as long as we are permitted to keep your Content under the Privacy Policy.

6.2 You confirm that you have the right to share your Content with us, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or any law. Do not send Content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory, or that contains another person’s private information without their permission.

6.3 You may give us feedback and suggestions. We may use them without any obligation to you.

6.4 Trindle may send you pictures, voice notes, text and links to third-party videos as part of the Services. Pictures and voice notes we create are ours or our licensors’. You may use them for your Household’s own purposes and must not resell or republish them.

6.5 Your conversations with Trindle are between you and Trindle. No member of our team reads them in the course of running the Services. The Privacy Policy explains how they are processed by Trindle’s own systems, the limited circumstances in which a person may look at a specific message, and how de-identified information drawn from them is used to improve Trindle for everyone.

7. What Trindle is, and what it is not

7.1 Trindle is an assistant that plans meals, writes cooking guides, keeps track of what your kitchen needs, and runs errands you ask for. It uses artificial intelligence and its own software systems to do this. Trindle makes mistakes. It may suggest a dish that does not suit you, miscount an ingredient, misread a photo, or misunderstand a voice note. You are responsible for checking what matters before you act on it.

7.2 Trindle gives food and nutrition suggestions. It can take into account the conditions, goals and instructions from a doctor or dietitian that you choose to state. Trindle is not a doctor, a dietitian or a pharmacist, and nothing it says is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication, follow the advice of your clinician over anything Trindle says, and tell your clinician how you are eating if that matters to your care. Nutrition figures that Trindle shows come from product labels, published food composition references and, where Trindle says so, its own calculation. They are estimates. Where a figure matters to your health, check it against the product’s own label or with your clinician.

7.3 Allergies and intolerances. Trindle plans around the allergies, intolerances and avoidances that you and your Household tell it about. It can only plan around what it has been told. Even then, a Guide, a List or an Order can contain an error, and packaged foods can contain ingredients that are not obvious from their name. If anyone in your Household has a serious allergy, you must read labels and check dishes yourself before eating or serving them. Namda is not responsible for a reaction caused by an ingredient that was not disclosed to Trindle, by a label that was not checked, or by a mistake that a careful reading of the Guide or List would have caught.

7.4 Recipes, videos and cooking methods come from many sources and from Trindle’s own writing. Cooking involves heat, sharp tools and raw ingredients. Use ordinary care in the kitchen, cook food to safe temperatures, and supervise children.

7.5 In an emergency, call your local emergency services. Trindle is not an emergency service and may not see a message in time.

8. Orders, bookings and other errands

8.1 When Trindle offers to order groceries or anything else, it prepares a cart or a booking on a third-party platform and shows it to you with the total. The platforms available depend on where you live and may include quick-commerce and grocery platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, Flipkart Minutes, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Now and JioMart; food delivery platforms such as Swiggy and Zomato; reservation, ticketing and going-out platforms such as District, BookMyShow, EazyDiner and Swiggy Dineout; home services platforms such as Urban Company; and any other platform available where you live. When you approve a cart or a booking, you authorise Trindle to place it and to spend that amount, plus any delivery charge, platform fee or small price change the platform applies at checkout. Nothing is ordered or booked without an approval from a person who holds that permission in your Household.

8.2 Trindle places orders and bookings through its own systems, on your behalf. Where an order is placed through an account that belongs to Trindle rather than to you, the platform does not hold your account and does not build a profile of your Household’s purchases. The delivery address and the recipient’s name are shared with the platform because delivery needs them. Your phone number is not shared where the platform allows an order without it; where a contact number is needed, Trindle may provide a temporary number that forwards to you for the delivery and stops working once the delivery is complete. Where Namda has a direct arrangement with a platform, Trindle may place orders and bookings through a direct technical connection that the platform provides, instead of acting on the platform the way a person would, under the same authorisation from you. These Terms cover both ways of placing an order, so that no further acceptance is needed if the way changes.

8.3 In every case the platform’s own terms apply to what it supplies: its prices, its delivery times, its substitutions, its cancellations and its refunds. Trindle passes on what the platform charges and does not add a mark-up unless we tell you so before you approve.

8.4 You give us a delivery address when the first order is placed. We use it only for orders and for the Services.

8.5 Trindle may tell you an expected delivery time. That time comes from the platform and from our own experience, and is an estimate. Namda is not responsible for a platform’s delay, a missing item, a wrong substitution or the quality of goods delivered. We will help you raise the matter with the platform where we can.

8.6 The Primary User may set a spending limit for orders, or give the money permission to a Member or an Allowed Person. Trindle will not spend above a limit that has been set.

8.7 On request, and especially under Trindle Life, Trindle may make reservations, buy tickets, arrange home and household services, and run other errands for you through third-party platforms and businesses. Trindle will tell you what it has arranged, including the time and any cancellation condition. You pay the third party directly unless we tell you otherwise, and the third party’s terms apply to what it provides.

9. Free trial

9.1 A new Household receives a Trial of 30 days from the day its Primary User sends the first message after signing up. During the Trial you have access to the Services at no charge. We do not take card details for a Trial, and nothing is deducted from you at the end of it.

9.2 One Trial per Household and per person. We may refuse or end a Trial where we believe it is being used to avoid paying, for example by re-registering the same home under another account.

9.3 We may extend a Trial, restart its clock, or end it early at our discretion, for example when the Services were not working properly during the Trial, or when a release changes the Services in a way that we want you to see fresh. We will tell you when we do this.

9.4 Before the Trial ends, Trindle will message you with a link to a page where you can see what Trindle has been looking after for your Household, the price of the plan, and a way to pay for a first month. If you do not pay, the Trial ends and the Services stop for your Household. Your information is then handled as the Privacy Policy describes.

10. Plans, prices and payment

10.1 Trindle offers two plans. “Trindle Food” covers meal planning, cooking guides, lists and grocery ordering, with the features we add to it over time. “Trindle Life” is the standard version of Trindle, in which the responsibilities Trindle takes on extend beyond food to other parts of your life, as described on our website. Trindle Life may be listed as coming soon in your city.

10.2 The plans and their prices for your country are shown on the payment page before you pay. Prices may differ by country and currency. The price shown at the time you pay is the price that applies. Prices include applicable taxes unless the payment page says otherwise.

10.3 A monthly plan is paid for one month at a time. You pay for a month when you choose to, through our payment provider, Razorpay. We do not set up a mandate, a standing instruction or an automatic deduction, and we do not store your card or UPI details. When a paid month is about to end, Trindle will message you with a link to pay for the next month. If you do not pay, the Services pause at the end of the paid month and nothing further is charged. If you pay later, the Services resume from that payment.

10.4 Razorpay processes payments under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive confirmation that a payment was made, the amount, the date and a reference, and we keep those records as the Privacy Policy describes.

10.5 We may change our prices. A change applies to periods you pay for after the change, never to a period you have already paid for. We will tell you about a price change at least 30 days before it takes effect by a message on the Messaging Service or on the payment page.

10.6 If a payment fails, is reversed, or is disputed with your bank, we may pause the Services until it is resolved. You are responsible for any bank or payment charges on your side.

10.7 You are responsible for taxes that apply to you in your country, other than those we are required to collect and remit.

10.8 Longer plans. We may introduce annual or other longer plans. Such a plan is paid in full in advance for its period, and its price is fixed for that period once paid. There is still no mandate and no automatic deduction. Before the period ends, Trindle will message you with a link to continue. Unused time on a longer plan is not refunded, except where the law of your country requires it or where we end the Services ourselves for a reason that is not your fault. Moving between plans during a period is at our discretion, and any difference in price is handled as the payment page states at the time. The Early Believer discount in Section 11 applies on top of a longer plan’s own price.

11. Coupon codes and the Early Believer discount

11.1 From time to time we issue coupon codes. A code is applied by entering it on the payment page before you pay. A code has the conditions we state when we give it to you. Codes are issued by Namda only. A code that you did not receive from us, or that was created by someone else, is not valid.

11.2 Early Believers. People who joined Trindle early, and certain others we choose to recognise, may be given an Early Believer Code. The Primary User, or the person who pays for the Household, asks Trindle for the code in chat and receives it from us. When the code is entered on a payment, the person who used it is marked as an Early Believer.

11.3 An Early Believer receives a discount of 20 percent on the price of the plan they pay for. After the first payment with the code, the discount is applied automatically to every later payment made by that person, for as long as they keep a Subscription with Trindle, without the code having to be entered again. The payment page will show the discount each time.

11.4 The Early Believer discount follows the person across plans. If the person moves from Trindle Food to Trindle Life, or to any annual or other plan we may introduce later, the 20 percent discount applies to the price of that plan, in addition to any discount that the plan itself carries.

11.5 The discount belongs to the person who first used the code, whether as Primary User or as the payer for a Household, and not to the Household. If that person later sets up another Household, or joins another Household as its payer, the discount travels with them. It cannot be transferred to another person, sold, or exchanged for money. If the person ends their Subscription and later returns, we will restore the discount on request where we can confirm that they are the same person.

11.6 We may withdraw a code or a discount where it was obtained by misrepresentation or shared against its conditions, and we may correct a discount that was applied by mistake.

12. Cancelling, refunds and ending the Services

12.1 You may stop using Trindle at any time. Because there is no mandate, you simply do not pay for the next period. You may also tell Trindle that you want to stop, and we will mark the Household as ended.

12.2 A month that has started is not refunded, except where the law of your country gives you a right to a refund, or where we choose to refund because the Services were not available for a substantial part of the month for reasons on our side. Longer plans are refunded as Section 10.8 states.

12.3 Refunds for groceries, bookings and other errands follow the terms of the platform or business that supplied them, as Section 8 describes.

12.4 We may suspend or end your access to the Services, with notice where practical, if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, if your account is used to abuse Trindle or another person, if payment is reversed or disputed, or if we stop offering the Services in your city or at all. If we end the Services for a reason that is not your fault during a period you have paid for, we will refund the unused part of that period.

12.5 When a Household ends, Members and Allowed Persons of that Household lose access to it. The Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long after that.

13. The Services change every week

13.1 We release changes to the Services often, usually every week. Features may be added, changed, switched on for some Households before others, or removed. Trindle may tell you what is new in a short message from time to time.

13.2 Some features are available only in some cities, in some languages, or to Households that have taken them up. Where a feature is described as a trial or an offer, you may decline it, and Trindle will not treat silence as a yes.

13.3 We may limit the number of messages, pictures, voice notes, orders or other actions in a period to keep the Services working for everyone.

14. Intellectual property

14.1 The Services, including the Trindle and Namda names and marks, the software, the prompts, the designs, the pictures and voice notes we generate, and the way Trindle writes and speaks, belong to Namda or its licensors and are protected by law. Apart from the limited rights in these Terms, nothing here gives you any right in them.

14.2 You may use the Services for your Household’s own, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Services or any part of them.

15. Things you must not do

15.1 You must not use the Services to break any law, to harm or harass any person, or to send Trindle material that is unlawful or that you do not have the right to share.

15.2 You must not try to extract, scrape or copy the Services’ software, prompts, models or data; interfere with the Services or the systems behind them; probe or test them for weaknesses without our written permission; or use automated means to send messages to Trindle.

15.3 You must not impersonate another person, sign up with an account that is not yours, add a person to a Household without their knowledge, or give Trindle another person’s private information when you have no right to.

15.4 You must not use the Services to plan food for people in a way that is intended to harm them, or to hide an allergy or condition of a person in your Household from the people who cook for them.

16. Services from other companies

16.1 Trindle runs today on WhatsApp, which is provided by Meta. Your use of WhatsApp, or of any other messaging service through which you talk to Trindle, is governed by that service’s terms and privacy policy. We cannot control delays, outages or changes on a messaging service.

16.2 Payments are processed by Razorpay. Orders, reservations, tickets and services are supplied by the platforms and businesses described in Section 8. Each of these has its own terms, which apply to what it provides.

16.3 Trindle may send you links to recipe videos and other material on third-party sites. We do not control that material, and we are not responsible for it.

16.4 Trindle uses artificial intelligence services from other companies to read your messages and photos, transcribe your voice notes, and write replies. The Privacy Policy explains how your Content is handled when it reaches them.

17. How artificial intelligence is used, and how your information improves Trindle

17.1 Trindle’s replies, Plans, Guides, Lists and pictures are produced by software, including large language models and image and speech models, working with Trindle’s own systems. Output from these models can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. We design the Services with checks, but we do not promise that every output is correct.

17.2 Trindle keeps a record of what your Household has told it so that it can plan better over time. This is part of the Services.

17.3 We use information from which names, numbers and other identifiers have been removed, which we call de-identified data, to study patterns in how homes eat, cook, shop and plan; to produce reports about those patterns for regions and populations; to improve Trindle’s own models, prompts and systems; and to inform and develop other products, services and technology that Namda or its Affiliates may offer in future. The Privacy Policy describes this, including the safeguards we apply and what we never do with identifiable information.

18. No warranties

18.1 The Services are provided as they are and as they are available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promise that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of errors; that any Plan, Guide, List, Order or suggestion will be accurate, complete, suitable for you or safe for a person with a particular condition or allergy; or that any defect will be corrected.

18.2 Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or right that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded by agreement.

19. Limits on our liability

19.1 To the fullest extent the law allows, Namda, its directors, employees, contractors and Affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the Services or these Terms, however caused.

19.2 To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you and your Household for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Services or these Terms in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Services in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim and the price of one month of your plan at the time of that event.

19.3 These limits do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, you keep every right that consumer protection law in your country gives you.

19.4 You accept that the price of the Services reflects these limits, and that we would not be able to offer the Services at this price without them.

20. Your responsibility to us

20.1 You will compensate Namda and its Affiliates for any loss, cost or claim, including reasonable legal fees, that arises from your breach of these Terms, from Content you share, from information you gave about another person without the right to, or from your misuse of the Services or of any third-party service through Trindle.

21. Messages from Trindle

21.1 Trindle will message you on the Messaging Service as part of the Services: Plans, Guides, Lists, questions, reminders, order and booking updates, notes on what is new, and messages about your Trial and Subscription. These are service messages and you receive them while you use the Services.

21.2 Some messages, such as offers of new things Trindle can do, are sent as marketing messages under the Messaging Service’s rules. You may tell Trindle to stop these at any time, in your own words. You will still receive service messages.

21.3 We may also contact you by email or phone where you have given them to us, for matters that concern your account, payment or safety.

21.4 Notices to us should be sent to here@namda.co. Legal notices should be sent to Namda Life and Machines Private Limited, Unit No. 309, 3rd Floor, Tower-A, SAS Tower, Support Area, Medicity, Sector-38, Gurgaon 122001, Haryana, India, marked for the attention of Pranav Gupta.

22. Governing law and disputes

22.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to Section 22.3, the courts at New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services.

22.2 Before starting any legal proceeding, please write to our Grievance Officer (Section 25). Most problems can be put right quickly. We will acknowledge your complaint and try to resolve it within the time the applicable law requires, and in any case within 30 days.

22.3 If you live outside India, nothing in these Terms takes away any right that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement, including any right to bring a claim in your own country’s courts.

23. Changes to these Terms

23.1 We may change these Terms. Each version carries an effective date at the top, and the version you accepted on the sign-up page is recorded against your Household.

23.2 When we make a change that affects your rights or obligations in a meaningful way, we will tell you on the Messaging Service at least 15 days before it takes effect, and we may ask you to accept the new version before you continue to use the Services or before you pay for a further period. Small changes, such as corrections and clarifications, take effect when posted.

23.3 If you do not agree to a change, stop using the Services before the change takes effect. Using the Services after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.

24. General

24.1 These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Namda about the Services and replace any earlier agreement.

24.2 If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply, and the invalid part is replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to its intent.

24.3 If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms at some time, we may still enforce it later.

24.4 You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to an Affiliate or to a successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, and we will tell you if we do.

24.5 We are not responsible for a failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages of a messaging service, payment providers, third-party platforms, hosting or artificial intelligence services, strikes, natural events, or acts of government.

24.6 These Terms are written in English. Where we provide a translation into Hindi or another language for convenience, the English version applies if there is any difference.

24.7 Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship between you and Namda. When Trindle places an order or makes a booking on your behalf, it acts on your instruction and your approval.

25. Grievance Officer and contact
